Shared terrain

The human experience is in many ways similar to that of seeds. Without the relationships which exist between the past and present, both parties would make feeble attempts to flourish in face of an uncertain future. Seeds, Like People draws on this parallel and explores what communal support and unconditional giving looks like in face of the challenges that arise with long-distance collaboration.

The installations by Wednesday Architecture and Only One Yes is the culmination of a collaborative effort mediated completely by the digital; conversations turned this unconventional manner of working into opportunities to share, relearn, and renegotiate the relationships we hold with one another. Each party took on one aspect of the installation without fully knowing how the final outcome would take form until opening day. Relying on the wisdom generated through this engagement, Seeds, Like People takes a compassionate approach to creating and places trust in the past and present to fortify us from what lies ahead in the future.
